Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) assist in Habitat’s mission to eliminate substandard housing.

VISTA taps the skills, talents, and passion of individuals to support community efforts to overcome poverty. 

VISTA members who serve with Habitat focus on indirect service activities such as:

• Generating resources
• Encouraging and organizing volunteer service
• Developing procedures and programs to improve capacity building efforts

VISTA members may serve in the following roles:

• Construction systems
• Family services
• Project development
• Resource development
• ReStore development
• Veterans’ engagement and outreach
• Volunteer engagement
