As a member of the Asia-Pacific senior management team, the Director for Communications will be responsible for the management and creative leadership of the Habitat for Humanity brand in the Asia-Pacific (AP) region and help lead the overall strategic direction and success of Habitat’s work throughout AP. This individual will lead a team who is responsible for brand projection, developing resources and systems to disseminate the impact of Habitat’s work, protection of Habitat’s brand in addition to offering counsel and implementing strategies to preserve the integrity of Habitat’s logo and name. He or she will also oversee Habitat’s media relations in the region and manage the communications aspect of Habitat’s disaster response efforts. This position will report to the Area Vice-President and will be based in Manila, the Philippines.
Associate Director, Center for Innovation, Shelter and Finance
As a key member of our Asia-Pacific team, the Associate Director with Habitat for Humanity’s Center for Innovation, Shelter and Finance (CISF) will lead efforts to expand our role in market approaches to housing improvement for low-income communities. He or she will provide institutional, program and operational support for the CISF in the Asia-Pacific region. Responsibilities include implementing the CISF’s strategy to provide advisory services, peer learning and knowledge management to a growing number of clients in the Asia-Pacific region. The successful candidate will report to the Director for Housing Finance, Asia-Pacific, and will be based in Manila, the Philippines.
Associate Director, Program Development and Support
The Associate Director for Program Development and Support leads a team of technical specialists who will guide national organizations in developing, implementing and evaluating programs in the Asia-Pacific region. Reporting to the Senior Director for Asia-Pacific Operations, this individual will be a key member of the Asia-Pacific operations team. This position is located in Manila, the Philippines.
Associate Director, Strategy and Business Planning
As a key member of our Asia-Pacific team, the Associate Director for Strategy and Business Planning will work directly with the leaders of national organizations (NOs), their boards, and regional office staff to lead, coordinate and facilitate the development of NO strategic plans. He or she will also monitor strategic alignment, and provide business planning as well as monitor organizational performance. This position is based in Manila, the Philippines.
Learning and Development Manager
Reporting to the Director for Human Resources and Learning Organizational Development, Asia-Pacific, the Learning and Development Manager is responsible for the support of the entire region’s organizational strategies. This individual will manage the development and integration of learning systems within the Asia-Pacific region and the global Habitat for Humanity network. These systems include Habitat program training and orientation, and training network within Habitat as well as external web-based learning. The successful candidate will be based in our satellite office in Manila, the Philippines.
Manager, Leadership Development
As the Leadership Development manager, you will define an organizational talent management framework and components to ensure the effective nurture and retention of critical organizational skills, expertise and leaders, as well as work with relevant parties in order to facilitate the implementation of organizational talent management and development initiatives based on the defined framework. This position will report to the Director for Human Resources and Learning Organizational Development, Asia-Pacific, and will be based in Manila, the Philippines.
Regional Finance Manager
Our Asia-Pacific finance team is looking for a motivated professional to serve as Regional Finance Manager. This individual will work directly with the Grant Manager in the development and design of grant proposals and will coordinate with key departments to ensure the financial and statistical reports reflect the most accurate and reliable information possible. The Regional Finance Manager will work out of our satellite office in Manila, the Philippines.
The Grant Manager will plan for and implement the rollout of grants in the national organizations and for projects in the Asia-Pacific region. He or she will oversee and be accountable for all bilateral and multilateral grant finances throughout the Asia-Pacific offices. The candidate will coordinate and manage capacity building and staff training in the Asia-Pacific offices relating to requirements, financial reporting and audit and monitoring of grants. The candidate will also facilitate a zero “administrative-findings and questioned-cost” status in the region. This position is located in Manila, the Philippines.
Partnership Development Manager
The Partnership Development Manager will be part of a team who targets annual quantitative and qualitative resource development in India and South Asia as well as other countries assigned by Habitat’s leadership in the Asia-Pacific region. Reporting to the Director for Resource Development, Asia-Pacific, this position is located in our regional office in Bangkok, Thailand.
Disaster Risk Reduction and Response Manager
Working in the world’s most disaster-prone region, Habitat for Humanity International’s Asia-Pacific regional office has seen firsthand how calamities wreak havoc. Habitat’s post-disaster responses paves the way for better, permanent homes and more resilient communities to be rebuilt on a larger scale. As part of Habitat’s Asia-Pacific Disaster Response team, the Disaster Risk Reduction and Response Manager will lead the overall regional disaster response efforts. This individual will connect, network, and create a coordinated response with international agencies involved in large-scale response efforts. He or she will be the primary Habitat representative at sector forums or conferences, positioning Habitat as a shelter or housing leader within the region. This position is located in Manila, the Philippines.
Disaster Risk Reduction and Mitigation Specialist
Reporting to the Disaster Risk Reduction and Response Manager, this individual will help build the capacity of Habitat for Humanity in disaster response efforts in the Asia-Pacific region and implement disaster risk reduction and mitigation programs. The Disaster Risk Reduction and Mitigation Specialist will be based in Manila, the Philippines.
Disaster Response Operations Specialist
The Disaster Response Operations Specialist will be part of Habitat’s Asia-Pacific Disaster Response team. Reporting to the Disaster Risk Reduction and Response Manager, this individual helps national organizations in disaster-prone countries to plan and implement effective responses as part of the countries’ disaster risk reduction, and strategic and management plans. The position will be based in Manila, the Philippines.
Stewardship and Satisfaction Manager
Habitat for Humanity International is seeking a Stewardship and Satisfaction Manager who can support the sustainability and brand-building goals of resource mobilization of the Asia-Pacific resource development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for donor relations events, celebrity engagements, and research support to the Partnership Development Manager from time to time. The Stewardship and Satisfaction Manager will also provide liaison with the Program and Program Support teams. This position will report to the Director for Resource Development, Asia-Pacific, and will be based in our satellite office in Manila, the Philippines.
Manager, Housing Finance and Market Development
The Asia-Pacific housing finance and market development team is actively seeking a manager to lead, manage and oversee our programs to expand the supply of housing finance services and other housing products to low-income communities. This individual will work closely with our network of national organizations in India, Indonesia, Cambodia, the Philippines and others to expand Habitat’s housing microfinance and micro-mortgage programs in the region. This position will report to the Director for Housing Finance, Asia-Pacific, and will be based in Manila, the Philippines.
