HFH of the Magic Valley is a locally run affiliate of
Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Habitat for
Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The
houses then are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged.Volunteers provide most of the labor, and individual and corporate donors provide money and materials to build Habitat houses. Partner families themselves invest hundreds of hours of labor - "sweat equity" - into building their homes and the homes of others. Their mortgage payments go into a revolving Fund for Humanity that is used to build more houses. Back To Top |

ReStore is located at 669 Eastland Avenue South. We are open FRIDAY AND SATURDAY from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Pick-ups for donations are on TUESDAYS from 9-noon or by appointment. Thank you to the Lutheran Congregations for all the volunteer support. If you would like to volunteer at the store call 735-1233 and leave a message. 2009 FUNDRAISERS FOR HFH-MV SEPTEMBER: RIM TO RIM : September 19th 2009. Habitat is the organizer of this long standing race. We have added a 1/2 Rim Race this year. We will give you information on the starting line and parking soon. Information and Race forms available via email at hfhoffice@cableone.net or full on line registration with www.Spondoro.com NOVEMBER 18th Harlem Ambassador's Basketball game 7:00pm at Canyon Ridge High School. Join Habitat for a fun filled family night out. Lot's of laughs and a chance to see the beautiful new facilities at the highschool. Tickets will be on sale at the ReStore and local outlets as the date nears. Mark your calandars NOW!!! We are partnering with 2 families the Wright family and the Bloss family. WORK SITE INFORMATION VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR: THRIVENT SITES, HARRISON REMODEL: Call Carmen with your availabilty or donation of time or products. 735-1233 RESTORE NEEDS YOUR HELP: Volunteers are needed at the ReStore on Tuesday, Wednesday 9a-12pm (DRIVER NEEDED Lifting is necessary) and Friday and Saturday from 9a-2p when the store is open. If you are available during the week, please call Carmen at 735-1233. HOME BUILDERS BLITZ 2008 was a great success: We were one of NEARLY 200 affiliates building homes the week of May 31-June 7, 2008. We partnered with Kae Construction and The Twin Falls Lions Club. We were the 1000th home to be built with the Lions Club International and celebrates the donation of $25 Million dollars from the Lions Clubs to Habitat for Humanity!
