About |

HFH of Obion County is a locally run affiliate of
Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Habitat for
Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The
houses then are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged.Volunteers provide most of the labor, and individual and corporate donors provide money and materials to build Habitat houses. Partner families themselves invest hundreds of hours of labor - "sweat equity" - into building their homes and the homes of others. Their mortgage payments go into a revolving Fund for Humanity that is used to build more houses. Back To Top |

 The Mathis and Wilson families have just moved in to their new homes on South Main Street in Troy.The house dedication for the new homeowners, the Calhoun family, will take place on July 30th at 5:00pm. Thanks for all the volunteers who helped make their dreams of a simple, decent house a reality!
We are in preparation for the next build on West Polk Street in Troy for the Southerland family. The house package has been ordered from New Hope Construction and the 1st build date should be in the next few weeks! |

|
Volunteers are always needed on each Saturday of a new build. Watch this site for the announcement of the first buid date. The Argo family 1st build date has already been scheduled for September 22 on East County Home Road. For more information, please call our office at 885-7126. Office hours are on Tuesday - Wednesday - Friday between 8:00am and 1:00pm. If you or someone you know is in need of decent, affordable housing, please contact our office for an application. We are currently taking applications for builds in 2007. |
