About |

Raintree Habitat for Humanity is a locally run affiliate of
Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Habitat for
Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The
houses then are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged.Volunteers provide most of the labor, and individual and corporate donors provide money and materials to build Habitat houses. Partner families themselves invest hundreds of hours of labor - "sweat equity" - into building their homes and the homes of others. Their mortgage payments go into a revolving Fund for Humanity that is used to build more houses. Back To Top |

 We are in the process of completing our 18th house in Henry County! We praise God for His faithfullness! We have been blessed with a local contractor who has once again spearheaded this build. Also, many volunteers have given countless hours. We hope to have our family, consisting of a young couple and their 17 month old son, in soon.
Our Middletown chapter is in the process of building our 17th Henry County house at this time. We recently purchased our first ever house to be renovated as a Habitat home. It is small and we intend to add some square footage, but we are looking forward to rehabilitating one of the many empty homes in the community. |

Volunteers are always needed for work sites, office duties, committees, and the board. For more information, please call our Executive Director, Cary Plummer, at 765-529-3229 anytime during the day or evening.
Also, if you would like to donate directly to Raintree Habitat for for Humanity, please go to Habitat.org and select the Raintree affiliate. Raintree Habitat was again applied for income tax credits from the state to help with fund raising. Please call for information about this exciting program that benefits Habitat and the donor!
