Endless Mountains HFH is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The houses then are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged.

Volunteers provide most of the labor, and individual and corporate donors provide money and materials to build Habitat houses. Partner families themselves invest hundreds of hours of labor - "sweat equity" - into building their homes and the homes of others. Their mortgage payments go into a revolving Fund for Humanity that is used to build more houses.

If you or someone you know would like to apply for a safe, sturdy, affordable home, please contact us at 570-836-2649 or chris@ddhdesign.com We are a small, all-volunteer nonprofit organization that builds one home at a time. We select a family for a new home as soon as we have raised funds to complete it. To be notified when we are ready to select the next family, please contact us and provide your full name, phone number, and complete mailing address.

When we are ready to select the next family, you will receive a flyer with details about an information session and application opportunity at the public library. There is no cost or obligation to apply. Applicants must earn a low but steady income and be residents of Wyoming County. Single-parent families are welcome to apply.

The selected family will spend 400 hours helping to construct their home, assisted by local volunteers, and will purchase their home at reduced cost through an affordable zero-interest Habitat home loan. No construction experience is needed, but applicants must be willing to learn how to hammer, sand, paint, landscape, etc.

Homeowner families are carefully selected according to a variety of criteria, including income, credit, work ethic, level of need, and other factors.

APPLICANTS SHOULD BRING: Social security numbers for all family members, recent pay stubs for all employed adult family members, employers’ contact info, current landlord’s contact info, copy of last year’s tax returns, and (if applicable) recent bank statement and documentation of any government benefits.
