Volunteer with a Habitat affiliate in the Gulf Coast -- Habitat for Humanity Int'l 1
Volunteer with a Habitat affiliate in the Gulf Coast
Volunteers are at the heart of Habitat for Humanity’s Gulf Coast recovery effort. Since Hurricanes Katrina and Rita devastated the region in August and September of 2005 tens of thousands of people have volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and more than 1,300 houses have been built or are under construction.
Today, the Gulf Coast region is still dealing with the aftermath of these storms. Habitat’s Gulf Coast affiliates continue to build houses in the affected area as part of their regular program.
Habitat Gulf Coast affiliates are listed below. Please contact each affiliate directly if you are interested in volunteering in their service area.
