The 12-day event was held to commemorate 100 years of scouting and attracted 40,000 scouts and leaders from around the world. Prince William learned about Habitat for Humanity and poverty housing issues and participated in Habitat’s Youth Programs’ Paper House Campaign, an advocacy outreach effort aimed at youth, at the Jamboree’s Global Development Village, where scouts explore key world challenges through practical workshops.
