Let’s make shelter a priority
In 2015, United Nations will define the framework for future global development. This framework is called the Post-2015 Agenda.
To eradicate poverty, this Agenda must include shelter as a priority. Having an adequate place to live has tremendous social and economic benefits for families and communities.
Currently, more than 1.6 billion people worldwide live in substandard housing.
Help us make shelter an explicit and measurable priority in the Post-2015 Development Agenda. With all of competing interests at the table, there is real concern that housing could be forgotten.
