Big Build Romania 2013
Empower the Vizuresti people in rehabilitating the working engine of the community: health, education, vocational and cultural center.
Vizuresti is a village in Romania with 1400 residents, 65 percent ethnic Roma. It’s very poor community with little chance of growth due to its isolation and lack of local resources or economic activities.
We aim to make following changes:
- school - install indoor plumbing, make necessary renovations.
- kindergarten - add exterior insulation.
- medical unit - meet health standards, rehabilitate and enlarge.
- community center - construction from scratch.
