Everest Build II
On the first construction day of Habitat for Humanity Nepal’s Everest Build II, more than 600 international and national volunteers will listen to the World Habitat Day message. Across four building sites, volunteers will raise their tools and start building 40 affordable homes at the exact time of 10.07am (local time). Everest Build II is a special Big Build from October 7-13, 2012 in Panchkhal, Kavre. Over six days, volunteers from around the world will come together to help build a better future for 40 Nepalese families. The focus will be on building affordable houses using local construction technologies and materials such as bamboo, sun-dried bricks and natural wall plaster.
