Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area is partnering with community members, churches and local organizations to clear out an illegal dumping ground in our focus neighborhood in Uptown Harrisburg. These lots are currently filled with weeds, mattresses, empty coolers, discarded furniture and lots of litter. With this area cleared, Green Urban Initiative (a local urban gardening organization in Harrisburg) is hoping to develop an urban garden in its place.
