Habitat for Humanity of Pitt County will be hosting its 2012 Women Build week Monday – Saturday October 22- 27 with two shifts daily, 9a.m. – 12p.m. and 1p.m. – 4p.m. Participation in Women Build requires no home building skills! Only willing hearts and a need to help others in need of decent, affordable homes are required. Our 2011 Women Build event was a huge success. The women started with a concrete slab. Within the week, external walls, internal walls, roof trusses (without mechanical equipment), plywood roof sheathing and windows were in place!
