World Habitat Day groundbreaking celebration
This year, Habitat for Humanity of Polk County will celebrate the day with a groundbreaking for our 15th home, at 5:30 p.m. at our next site on Bluebird Ave. in Livingston.
Come and join us as we begin work on this next home, which will be built with the Lanita Wyatt family. Lanita is a single mother with three children, who has already demonstrated what a good worker she is by volunteering on the most recent home just dedicated in Corrigan. Start planning now to attend the groundbreaking on October 1 and to volunteer in the construction of the home most Saturdays in the fall. You will be notified of the workdays if you are on the volunteer list. Remember, volunteers are needed at every level of experience, from none to expert. See you there.
