Santa Fe, Argentina

November 15, 2013 to December 1, 2013

Come and build with a fun but hard-working team in Santa Fe, Argentina! See Argentina in a way that is very different to the tourist experience and find out more about the people of this country that spans such a large geographic area of South America. This two-week build has been designed to provide a real immersion into the culture of this fascinating country, and also provides us with the time to make a real difference through our building efforts.

We are looking for 20 keen participants who would like the opportunity to help Argentinians in need of decent housing, to work closely with local residents and to build lasting friendships with fellow teammates. No previous building experience is necessary, but we value greatly a willingness to work hard coupled with a sense of humour.

About Habitat for Humanity Argentina
Recognizing the need for decent housing in Argentina, Habitat for Humanity International established operations in the country in 1992 and built its first six houses in the Olavarria, Buenos Aires province.

In 2002, HFH Argentina began hosting Global Village teams, and has provided international volunteers with an opportunity to experience its culture through elaborate welcome and farewell activities with community members and Habitat partner families. During the trip, our team will be provided with educational tools about the housing needs in Argentina that will help us learn more about the families we will be working with.
