Malaysia: Borneo Blitz Build
Join volunteers from several different countries to make home ownership a reality for 14 families. You’ll see firsthand how much you can improve the world in just a week. These simple houses, complete with access to clean water and sanitation facilities, will provide the families stability and opportunity. Away from the work site, you’ll experience Malaysian cuisine and local markets.
Global Village sends volunteers to build with Habitat for Humanity projects across the world. Get your hands dirty on the worksite, meet the families whose housing situation you are improving, experience the country like an insider and do it all alongside a team of like-minded volunteers. No experience is required! This build is your next step with Habitat to make the world a better place.

Nick’s favorite Global Village story: “While on a Global Village trip to Kerala, India, our team was able to work alongside the soon-to-be Habitat homeowners every day. They were always there smiling when we arrived in the morning, and continued smiling through the entire day as we all worked together building their new home. Jancey, a seamstress in the local village, and Shijo, a rural farmer, were some of the most amazing people that I’ve met. They were hard working, excited to share their lives and culture with our team and incredibly thankful for what we all accomplished together.”
