you can’t find them, call your credit card company and ask it to send them
to you. Or, you might be able to find the terms and conditions online at your
credit card company’s Web site.
Carefully read the terms and conditions. What are all the fees your lender can
charge? Do you think you’ve paid some of these fees without knowing?
Go to www.bankrate.com. Compare terms and conditions for credit cards listed
on its site. Use this exercise to train your eye on what to look for when you
read offers for credit. It will help you become a savvy shopper for credit.
Using this worksheet, make a list of ways credit has improved your financial
fitness, and ways that it has set you back. Make notes of what you learned.
Write an affirmation that will help you continue making good credit decisions.
Then write an affirmation that will help you prevent from repeating past
mistakes.
