before you need credit, look for a job or an apartment,

for insurance, read your credit report. You may be able to fix
errors to improve your credit before someone needs to read to your
credit report. If your credit report is in bad shape, be prepared
to talk about this
with
whoever
will
be
looking
at
your
credit report. You may be able to work something out ahead of time.
