Getting an Education
Continue Your Success

Working full time and taking care of a family and a home is a lot of work. Going to school and doing well is even more work. But there are ways you can continue your success with your education—and manage your other responsibilities.

You will be busy, for sure. So, stay focused on your education and financial goals! Keep them handy, and read them out loud often.

Here are some other tips to help you get through these busy times.
Manage your time by scheduling your day. Make time for school work, family, work that needs to be done at home, and leisure time.
Manage your stress by meeting other people who are trying to accomplish similar goals. New friendships with people who manage similar responsibilities can be a great source of support.
Manage your study habits by noticing how you learn. Do you like to listen, read, or engage in conversation while you learn? Whichever way, speak with your professors or advisor for study tips that best suits your learning style.
Manage your workload by staying in touch with your professors and advisor. Should you fall behind, work out a plan to get ahead.
Manage your responsibilities at home by asking for help with daily chores.
