True Stories

Churches and corporate partners are vital to Habitat's success. Both sponsored houses, donated materials and supplied volunteers to help create two complete neighborhoods in Habitat's hometown during the 20/20,000 and 30/30,000 blitz builds. HFHI's new headquarters in downtown Americus was completely constructed with designated donations so that no house-building funds were utilized in the project. HFHI's Environmental Initiative helps ensure that Habitat building has a positive impact on the earth's fragile ecosystems. Building on Faith is the action component of Habitat's annual Day of Prayer and Action for Human Habitat.
