George and Karen Steil traveled to Siorapaluk, Greenland, with their copy of Habitat World, last summer. Siorapaluk, with a population of about 80 people, is the world's northernmost community.

Habitat World Goes to Zambia, Greenland

In an effort to share the news about Habitat for Humanity and the need for decent housing, Habitat World is mailed to supporters all over the world. But for many copies of the magazine, the journey doesn't end in a mailbox. As these photographs demonstrate, the magazine--and the message--can turn ordinary, concerned citizens into ambassadors of hope.

Have you traveled with your copy of
Habitat World? Share your stories or send us a photograph of you with your Habitat World. Write Habitat World, 121 Habitat St., Americus, GA 31709 or e-mail habitatworld@hfhi.org.

Caption (right): When Severain Kasongo in Mufulira, Zambia, e-mailed this photograph, he included biblical encouragement, as well: "And let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after awhile we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't get discouraged and give up. That's why whenever we can we should always be kind to everyone." -Gal. 6:9 (paraphrase)
