The Charitable Gift Annuity:
A Simple Blueprint for Building the Future

Here's how it works:

  • You transfer cash or securities to Habitat for Humanity International.
  • Habitat for Humanity International makes fixed payments to you for as long as you live.
  • After your lifetime, remaining funds are released to build more houses.

Gift annuities can also make payments to two persons, and may provide substantial tax savings. Annuity payments can begin immediately, or they may be deferred until a later date. Annuity contracts are backed by the full faith and credit of Habitat for Humanity International.

For a personalized charitable gift annuity illustration, please contact the planned giving department at (800) 422-4828, Ext. 2253, or amosley@hfhi.org.
