Eli is helping. . . so can you.

Moved by stories of children and parents losing homes, lives and loved ones to the Dec. 26 tsunami that rocked Asia, Eli resolved to help He cleaned out his piggy bank for a total of $3. His goal was to raise $5 for Habitat for Humanity, so he earned money by sorting the silverware from his family's diswasher, making his bed and clearing the dinner table.

However, when he learned that $15,00 could build an entire Habitat house in Sri Lanka, Eli immediately increased his goal, appealing to family, neighbors and friends for support. His efforts resulted in a donation exceeding $1,700. Thanks to Eli, an entire family's life will be transformed.

Our world's ousing need is real, and each gift, when combined with so many others as Eli discovered, makes a difference. Each
person makes a difference--whether 5 years old or 85.

Please share your gift with us today so that we can help more families escape the despair of poverty housing and reclaim the hope in a decent place to live. We couldn't say it better than Eli wrote above in his own letter to friends and family.

It's really very simple
So many poor families need decent housing. Your gift will help them obtain it. Help us extend Eli's efforts and show just how far a 5-year-old's resolve can go toward building a better world.

You can continue what Eli started by calling 1-800-HABITAT or by visiting us online where you can donate securely at www.habitat.org/HelpEli.
