Enhancing Habitat's Global Impact

Habitat for Humanity is piloting a new international volunteer program. Participating countries include Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Ghana, Indonesia, Mongolia and Uganda. Special project volunteers can apply for positions in many departments, from finance, communications and resource development to training, volunteer coordination and other areas. In the future, Habitat offices also will accept volunteers with no previous construction experience to work for three to six months on construction projects, much like an extended Global Village trip.
