Jimmy Carter Work Projects 2004, 2005: 4 Cities, 2 Weeks, 1 Result
This edition of Habitat World features the Jimmy Carter Work Project, the impact it made in last year's host sites of Puebla and Veracruz, Mexico, and the similar impact it will leave in this year's host sites of Benton Harbor and Detroit, Mich. While located in two different countries, these four cities share a great deal in common, not the least of which is a lack of decent housing and countless compassionate people devoted to improving lives by building Habitat housing in partnership with families who need a better place to live. |
