Help Plan a Brighter Tomorrow

Estate planning is a valuable means of providing for your loved ones while improving the lives of others through a charitable gift. Considering Habitat in your estate planning is one way to help families in need of decent housing.

What Is Your Estate? Your estate is whatever you accumulate during your lifetime. It is money, land, stocks, insurance, furniture, jewelry, automobiles, etc.

What Is An Estate Plan? An estate plan is a fairly specific statement of how you wish to conserve and protect your material wealth. It allows you and your heirs to take advantage of tax laws while choosing the best way to pass your property to family members, charities and others during life and after death.

Who Needs An Estate Plan? Everyone needs an estate plan--a good, up-to-date plan that reflects your individual wishes. Estate planning is not just for those with great wealth.

Habitat for Humanity International needs and appreciates the strong financial support that its friends can provide through their wills.

We hope that while you develop your estate plan you will consider making HFHI a beneficiary. If you choose to do so, please notify our department of Planned Giving for proper crediting purposes.

Should you have any questions, please contact HFHI's department of Planned Giving at (800) 422-4828, ext. 2253.
