'I worked very hard for this house'

When Dhana Maya Danawar thinks about the house she and her husband are slowly repairing, she breaks into a grin. "I made this," she says. "That's why I feel so very happy."

The Danawars are improving their house through Habitat for Humanity Nepal's Save and Build program. Designed to help families with very low incomes, Save and Build allows families to construct a house a roof or concrete floor at a time.

Around the world, families like Dhana's are building better lives with the help of Habitat for Humanity. Your contribution enables Habitat to offer expertise, training and materials to families who lack only a helping hand to achieve their dreams of simple, decent shelter.

Please give a gift today ... and help us build hope for the future.
