Title: Video Production Assistant Volunteer
Location: Habitat for Humanity International Headquarters—Americus, Georgia, USA
Term of Service: 3–6 months (beginning as soon as possible)
Assignment summary
This is an opportunity to help the video team in the Communications department at Habitat for Humanity International.
This volunteer in this position reports to the video and still editing manager and is based out of the HFHI headquarters office in Americus, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Equipment maintenance, setup, teardown and archival tasks.
- Collaborate with video production staff on lighting, audio and camera work for both remote locations and studio settings.
- Research and obtain rights and clearances.
- Dubbing, transcription, pre-editing and distribution of finished tapes, optical media and digital assets to end users.
Requirements
Experience working with Microsoft Office, good communication skills and experience with video production. Must value teamwork. University degree preferred.
Support from the host organization
Housing, utilities and work-related hardware will be provided, in addition to $75 per week as food stipend. The office and downtown Americus are within walking distance of volunteer housing.
Volunteer will be responsible for all other costs associated with living in the host country.

Visa
Non-U.S. volunteers must be on a B1/B2 visa in order to stay in organization housing and receive meal reimbursement. Volunteers on student (F-series) visas may not receive meal reimbursement. HFHI does not sponsor visas for non-U.S. citizens to volunteer
