'We look forward to this every year'

The Jimmy Carter Work Project has special meaning for support services volunteer Everly Eaton from Phoenix, Ariz.—she met her husband Rick during the 1999 JCWP in the Philippines.

Everly Eaton serves up food to the other volunteers at the Jimmy Carter Work Project in Detroit. The 2005 JCWP marks Everly's fifth.

This is Everly’s fifth JCWP and, like many “Habituals,” she plans to continue her work with the organization.

“We set aside a week every year for the JCWP,” she says. “It’s the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. We look forward to this every year.”
