Online application to volunteer with Carter Work Project 2008

Please Read the Following Information Thoroughly Before Continuing with the Application Process

Welcome!

As part of Habitat for Humanity’s ongoing Gulf Coast Recovery effort, and to raise awareness of the enormous needs that still exist throughout the region after the storms of 2005, the 25th annual Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project will be held in Biloxi and Pascagoula, Mississippi May 11-16, 2008. We are delighted you will be joining former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn, Habitat for Humanity CEO Jonathan Reckford and our host affiliate, Habitat for Humanity of the Mississippi Gulf Coast for this important event.

The Carter project has been renamed for 2008 to reflect the dedication and contributions of the former First Lady and to celebrate the Carters’ 25th anniversary of working with Habitat. The goal of the project is to draw attention to the continuing need for affordable housing in the aftermath of the storms and to celebrate the extraordinary contributions the Carters have made to Habitat and its partner families over the last 25 years.
