Job Description
Well-established, highly regarded area Habitat for Humanity nonprofit seeks an enthusiastic, outgoing professional to join our team! In this fast-paced position, you will manage volunteers and assist in fundraising campaigns designed to create new, as well as foster existing, donor sponsor relationships that support our mission in a team-oriented and dynamic work environment. You must be driven to interact with the local community and cultivate relationships with young professionals, youth groups, civic organizations, churches and the families that partner with the organization. Through various business development techniques, you will encourage participation and support for fundraising programs and special events while managing a fulfilling and challenging work environment.
This position also manages the volunteer function of the affiliate creating an atmosphere where volunteers are utilized, honored and fulfilled for the smooth and efficient operations of the Habitat affiliate.
Part-time resource development coordinator (20-25 hours per week) - College students/graduates encouraged to apply.
Education/experience requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Two years’ experience in the field of volunteer management, fundraising, and public relations or equivalent combination of experience, education and training.
- Personal volunteer experience.
Workweek is Tuesday – Friday, 8:30 to 3:00, some evenings and weekends.
