US Data Analyst

Do you have a desire to help people, enjoy learning new things and are really good then handling data? If so, Habitat for Humanity International has the opportunity for you. Data Analyst for US Habitat affiliate consolidated data, including primary and secondary sources. Strong analytical skills with relational data bases, GIS mapping, MicroSoft Office Suite, and SalesForce CRM. Ability to support survey tools, curate data, prepare management reports and create maps. Ideal team member is well organized, detail-oriented, produces quality work on tight deadlines, has a customer service perspective and a collaborative spirit.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will work closely with the Affiliate Support Center staff, finance,communications, legal and impact measures team.
1. Collect, synthesize, and provide data and GIS mapping needed by HQ departments, affiliates, SSOs, and US-SOSI.
2. Verify and validate current data collection and analysis tools to capture information from affiliate reports and surveys.
3. Update management reports monthly, quarterly, and annually.
4. Assist in designing and developing survey tools and reports from the data collected as well as making modification as needed.
5. Organize, manage and refresh the shared files and documentation for the data team.
6. Work with IT on centralized data management.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree
1-2 years of related work experience

Skills, Competencies and Experience:
Computer aptitude - including proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, familiar with Access; familiarity with Salesforce or other customer management relationship systems; skills in Geographic Information Systems (GIS mapping), good interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills; detail oriented; solid oral and written communication skills are needed. Ability to work with confidential information and on tight deadlines.
