Shelter: A priority

In 2015, United Nations will define the framework for future global development. This framework is called the Post-2015 Agenda.

To eradicate poverty, this Agenda must include shelter as a priority. Having an adequate place to live has tremendous social and economic benefits for families and communities.

Currently, more than 113 million people in Latin America –the equivalent of Mexico’s population- live in slums.

Also, 1 out of 4 people in urban areas in the region lives in inadequate conditions.

Help us make shelter an explicit and measurable priority in the Post-2015 Development Agenda. Please sign our petition.
