Second annual Open for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity Guatemala announces its second annual golf tournament, to be held this March in the Country Club Guatemala.
GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala (February 22, 2011) – Habitat for Humanity Guatemala invites you to participate in its second annual golf tournament, “Open for Humanity.” The event will be held on Friday, March 4, in the prestigious Guatemala Country Club.
The tournament is one of the most important fundraising events for the organization. Support is provided by the Guatemala Country Club, as well as sponsors such as Remax, Continental Airlines, Ogilvy Public Relations Agency, Bienes Inmuebles TV, Crowne Plaza, Rackets & Golf Magazine, the Event Center, Ser Gerente Magazine and SML Group.
The event will be played in the style of “A Go-Go” in foursomes, with a maximum of 90 players. Tee time is at 7:30 a.m.
Habitat for Humanity Guatemala’s Open for Humanity offers prizes for a hole in one and closest to the pin, and will host a putting contest, among other activities. Participants will share a lunch after the tournament.
Participation is Q600 per participant. All proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity Guatemala.
