The Citi Foundation has donated more than $34 million to Habitat for Humanity since 1999. Citi employees have contributed more than 180,000 volunteer hours, helping Habitat build more than 850 homes around the globe and sharing financial expertise through training, financial education programs and support for the regional Center for Innovation in Shelter and Finance (Spanish).


The world’s top steelmaker, ArcelorMittal, is teaming up with Habitat for Humanity in a global partnership to build and renovate hundreds of homes and to create a groundbreaking new model of durable, safe and affordable homes. Habitat for Humanity’s relationship with Thrivent Financial brings the financial, volunteer and advocacy resources of Thrivent Financial together with the affordable housing construction leadership of hundreds of local Habitat for Humanity affiliates. To date, nearly 486,000 volunteers have built more than 2,600 Habitat houses worldwide including the Charlotte holistic community in El Salvador.


The Home Depot Foundation is committed to repair and renovate the homes of U.S. veterans through the Habitat for Humanity Repair Corps program. The foundation also supports the construction of energy-efficient and sustainable homes and communities. Since 2010, The Home Depot Foundation partnership has supported post-disaster projects to assist families affected by Hurricane Alex in the municipalities of Monterrey and Santa Catarina, Mexico.


With financial and volunteer support from Amway’s network of distributors and employees, Amway is partnering with Habitat for Humanity to build adequate housing in eight Latin American countries: Guatemala, Colombia, Brazil, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Argentina, Mexico and Honduras. In Guatemala, the two organizations are mobilizing Amway and Habitat volunteers to build 10 new homes per year until 2017, to create the “Amway and Habitat for Humanity Guatemala Colonia” in Zacapa, benefiting 43 families. Amway distributor, Tim Foley, and his e-Finity network are committed to supporting this program, in partnership with Amway and Habitat.


P&G, one of Habitat for Humanity’s newest corporate partners, aims to align its corporate goals for sustainability with Habitat’s mission to promote healthy housing. P&G creates sustainable products to ensure a better quality of life for people and our planet. Habitat builds and renovates homes that improve the health and educational opportunities of children and families. P&G is helping Habitat build environmentally sound homes and train 35 families in Silao, Guanajuato, Mexico. The company is also underwriting two major programs in the region: the Healthy Houses Education program in Mexico, which will affect the lives of 1,000 families; and the Healthy Housing and Micro-entrepreneur Women project, which empowers and trains women in healthy housing practices throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
