While we can talk about Habitat for Humanity's strategic plan in the abstract, it is when the plan's four focus areas are put into practice–into action–that they have the power to change people's lives. Throughout its history, Habitat for Humanity has taken Christ-centered action to make poverty housing socially, politically and religiously unacceptable in our world. This past year, we have stepped up the pace even more:

• Leading in the mission to build decent homes with people in need.
  
• Innovating our methods to better accomplish our goals.
  
• Building our capacity to serve.
  
• Advocating and educating about the ills of substandard housing and Habitat for Humanity's solution.
