Actress Julia Stiles Builds in Costa Rica



Costa Rica - May 22, 2000 - Promising young actress Julia Stiles (Hamlet 2000, 10 Things I Hate About You) recently spent two weeks in Costa Rica on a Habitat for Humanity International Global Village mission project. Julia plans to return to Costa Rica to work again in the near future. This September Julia will volunteer at the Jimmy Carter Work Project in New York City as well as co-host the JCWP’s opening ceremonies.

Dedicated to eliminating poverty housing, Habitat for Humanity International is an ecumenical Christian ministry founded by Millard Fuller along with his wife, Linda. HFHI and its more than 1,900 affiliates in 67 nations have built and sold more than 90,000 homes to partner families at no profit with zero-interest mortgages.
