“Manna From Heaven” Screening To Benefit Habitat for Humanity International

AMERICUS, GA., August 14, 2003 – Five Sisters Productions will hold a benefit screening of “Manna From Heaven” on August 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the Marietta Star Cinema, 1355 Roswell Road, Marietta. (770) 971-3511.

Five Sisters Productions continues to show their support of Habitat for Humanity by donating proceeds from the first night’s screening of “Manna” in each new market to Habitat. The screening will be followed by a “talk-about”/meet-and-greet with “Manna’s” directors and producers, Maria and Gabrielle Burton.

Advance ticket purchase at the theater is recommended, as previous benefit screenings have sold out. Groups wanting to arrange a special Q & A event on Saturday or Sunday, August 23 or 24, may contact to see if scheduling is available.

“The film deals with many things that are identified with Habitat for Humanity,” said Ursula Burton of Five Sisters Productions. “It deals with the theme of rebuilding, of people coming together to make the community better.”

“Manna From Heaven” is a feel-good family comedy about a group of people who receive a financial windfall and many years later find out that it must be paid back immediately. “Manna From Heaven” stars Academy Award winners Shirley Jones, Cloris Leachman and Louise Fletcher, Academy Award nominee Seymour Cassel, Ursula Burton, Shelley Duvall, Jill Eikenberry, Frank Gorshin, Faye Grant, Harry Groener, Wendie Malick and Austin Pendleton also appear in the film.
