Habitat for Humanity gears up for its single-largest building event across the country

AMERICUS, Ga. (May 19, 2006) – Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the United States are gearing up for the homebuilding organization’s largest blitz build in history. Over the course of one week, June 5-9, 1,000 professional builders will volunteer their time and donate materials to completely build more than 400 homes in 130 locations. The lives of builders and families in need will be transformed during the week from the raising of the first walls to the hundreds of home dedications at the end of the week.
