“A Right to a Decent Home” is an extensive survey of the housing landscape in the African and Middle East region. The report, the first of its kind by Habitat for Humanity, examines the state of poverty housing conditions, the causes and effects of substandard housing and initiatives needed to improve housing conditions.
“A Right To A Decent Home” complements Habitat for Humanity studies on housing conditions in Europe and Central Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean and Asia Pacific.
Jennifer Duncan, the author of all four reports, is a lawyer from the USA with a background in land-use policy and reform in developing and transitional countries.
