Habitat for Humanity’s Asia-Pacific Program is Currently Recruiting for the Following Positions

Habitat for Humanity International is a global nonprofit Christian housing organization that brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. Since 1976, Habitat has served more than 600,000 families by building and improving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. An estimated 176,000 of these families are in the Asia-Pacific region, where Habitat has been active since 1983.

Associate Director, Program Development and Support [1]
The Associate Director for Program Development and Support leads a team of technical specialists who will guide national organizations in developing, implementing and evaluating programs in the Asia-Pacific region. Reporting to the Senior Director for Asia-Pacific Operations, this individual will be a key member of the Asia-Pacific operations team. This position is located in Manila, the Philippines.

Program Development Manager [2]
The Program Development Manager is responsible for building the capacity of and providing integral support to Habitat's national organizations throughout the Asia-Pacific region. He or she will develop and promote well-articulated, donor-attractive programs that link specific country needs with Habitat’s mission as well as the goals of foundations, organizations and institutions which provide vital funding support. This position will be based in our satellite office in Manila, the Philippines.

Program Support Manager [3]
We are looking for an experienced professional to serve the Asia-Pacific region as Program Support Manager. This individual will report to the Associate Director of Regional Programs and be based in our satellite office in Manila, the Philippines. The candidate is expected to support and advise leaders and staff of national organizations in the Asia-Pacific region and to coordinate program support available through HFHI.

Manager, Program Design, Monitoring and Evaluation [4]
A talented professional is required to fill the position of Manager of Program Design, Monitoring and Evaluation (PDME). Reporting to the Associate Director of Regional Programs, this individual is responsible for the development and implementation of PDME systems and processes in the Asia-Pacific region. The PDME manager will advise and oversee national organizations as well as work with HFHI program staff on many aspects of PDME including reporting and encouraging best practices.

Learning and Development Manager [5]
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Learning and Development Manager is responsible for the support of the entire region's organizational strategies. This individual will manage the development and integration of learning systems within the Asia-Pacific region and the global Habitat for Humanity network. These systems include Habitat program training and orientation, and training network within Habitat as well as external web-based learning. The successful candidate will be based in our satellite office in Manila, the Philippines.

Advocacy Manager [6]
The Advocacy Manager will serve as a champion for advocacy through strategic leadership and active involvement with National Organizations (NOs). This individual will coordinate with Habitat for Humanity International's Government Relations and Advocacy Office in Washington DC to achieve full policy alignment across the entire organization.  He or she will provide valuable knowledge and expertise in advocating for various aspects of the shelter/housing programs by Asia-Pacific NOs and their implementing partners. This position will be based in Manila, the Philippines.

Area Finance Manager, Business Strategies [7]
We are seeking a highly qualified professional who understands the complexities of international finance to lead the Asia-Pacific team of Regional Finance Managers. The Area Finance Manager for Business Strategies is responsible for overseeing and guiding the regional finance team to ensure that all financial operations are carried out according to international and local laws and Habitat’s policies. He or she will also guide and lead the national organizations in preparing their annual budgets, project-based budgets, etc. This senior level position will be based in our satellite office in Manila, the Philippines.

Regional Finance Manager [8]
Our Asia-Pacific finance team is looking for a motivated professional to serve as Regional Finance Manager. This individual will work directly with the Grant Manager in the development and design of grant proposals and will coordinate with key departments to ensure the financial and statistical reports reflect the most accurate and reliable information possible. The Regional Finance Manager will work out of our satellite office in Manila, the Philippines.

Grant Manager [9]
The Grant Manager will plan for and implement the rollout of grants in the national organizations and for projects in the Asia-Pacific region. He or she will oversee and be accountable for all bilateral and multilateral grant finances throughout the Asia-Pacific offices. The candidate will coordinate and manage capacity building and staff training in the Asia-Pacific offices relating to requirements, financial reporting and audit and monitoring of grants. The candidate will also facilitate a zero "administrative-findings and questioned-cost" status in the region. This position is located in Manila, the Philippines.

Savings Technical Services Coordinator [10]
This position calls for a highly motivated and experienced housing finance professional to implement Habitat for Humanity's housing finance strategy for the Asia-Pacific region. Our strategy involves innovative solutions in access to credit, savings and financial education for housing improvement for low-income communities. The Savings Technical Services Coordinator will provide technical support and oversight of a grant to pilot and study commitment savings for home improvement with teams in selected countries. He or she has to work with both independent national organizations as well as branches of Habitat for Humanity; exceptional interpersonal and consulting skills are required.  

Human Resources Coordinator [11]
We are looking for a committed individual to serve as Human Resources Coordinator for the Asia-Pacific region. This individual shall provide both technical and administrative HR support to the staff at the area office and national organizations (NOs) in the region, develop and maintain efficient and confidential HR systems and procedures, and support NOs with HR service delivery and capacity building. This position is located in Manila, the Philippines.

National Director, Habitat for Humanity Cambodia [12]
We are seeking an experienced individual for the role of National Director for Habitat for Humanity Cambodia. This individual will develop the capacity of the national organization to achieve Habitat's mission and manage financial and human resources in ensuring a sustainable program, among other responsibilities. This position will be based in Phnom Penh.

National Director, Habitat for Humanity Malaysia

A highly motivated and experienced individual is needed to serve as the National Director of Habitat for Humanity Malaysia. He or she will lead the team at HFH Malaysia to meet the global objectives of eliminating poverty housing from the world, and making decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. This position is located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

CEO, Habitat for Humanity Thailand [14]
The CEO is responsible for developing the capacity of the national organization and its board of directors/governing body to fulfill the purposes of Habitat for Humanity in Thailand. He or she will ensure sound organizational growth through strategic and operational development. This position is located in Bangkok, Thailand.

Director for Fundraising, Habitat for Humanity India [15]
Habitat for Humanity India is seeking an experienced individual with a proven track record in fundraising for this position. The Director for Fundraising will support Habitat's IndiaBUILDS Capital Campaign in raising at least US$100 million in order to serve 100,000 families in India by 2015. The Director for Fundraising will report to the CEO as well as to the IndiaBUILDS Capital Campaign Advisory Board and the Asia-Pacific Campaign Team. This position is located in Mumbai, India
