Habitat for Humanity at the University of Central Florida will kick off our annual Habitat awareness week on October 1, 2012.
During this week we will host nightly events and table every day in the student union. As the university with the second largest student body in the nation, our chapter has great potential of spreading awareness on the dangers of substandard housing to the local community and abroad.
Last year we kicked off our Act Speak Build week on World Habitat Day and celebrated the dedication of Habitat for Humanity International's 500,000th home! The T-shirts, pencils and booklets were a great help!
