Youth United students pledge to sleep outside in a cardboard box to raise awareness for poverty, substandard housing and homelessness. The Youth United groups team up with Habitat Cabarrus and youth across the county to raise funds for the annual Collegiate Challenge house built in March of each year.
The event includes music, games and a "build your shack" contest for students to participate in.
