To celebrate World Habitat Day 2012, Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity will be partnering with Habitat charter clubs for an overnight Shantytown. To connect to this year's theme of "Many homes, one community," participants will build cardboard shelters that they will sleep in, creating their own community. A full night of events is also planned for participants, including listening to a PVHFH family speak about the importance of affordable housing and a letter writing campaign to advocate for affordable housing.
