As the Manager of Organizational Learning, you will have full responsibility of supporting our entire Asia/Pacific regions’ organizational strategies that will increase the quality and impact of Habitat’s programs through integrated delivery of resources and training programs, technology and skills transfer, research, knowledge management, and interdepartmental collaboration. This critical position is based at our Asia Pacific’s satellite office, located in Manila. You will report to the Area’s Director of Human Resources and will manage the development and integration of learning systems within Asia Pacific and the broader global HFHI network. These systems include HFH program training and orientation, external web-based learning, and the internal HFH training network.
You are most likely skilled at developing strategies for linking and sharing resources and information, within a large international organization, and establishing/nurturing external partnerships, and utilizing internal networks and communities of practice to further develop the organization. While you value and work well within a team, you are most likely comfortable being a self-starter and able to create, develop and establish programs to further your organization’s needs. Since we are an organization represented in over 75 countries around the world, you are adept at working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds; understanding the challenges with working with people from all walks of life.
As the Manager of Organizational Learning, you will be responsible for interacting with the Area’s Senior Management Team, the Directors for National Organization and program staff, in additional to external agencies. You understand the internal workings of a nonprofit organization and have experience working at the local, regional and global level. You have proven success in managing projects from conceptualization through completion and have successfully delivered capacity building programs. 1. Bachelor’s degree
2. Formal instruction in training methodologies and/or certification in adult education
3. 5+ years’ experience and demonstrated success in Knowledge Management
4. 3+ years’ experience and demonstrated success in Community of Practice facilitation and support
5. Fluency in written and spoken English

2. Knowledge of area language highly valued
