Music artist Tracy Worth joins women and faith groups to help Habitat for Humanity build homes with families in need
AMERICUS, Ga., Oct. 6, 2004 — Serenity Entertainment national recording artist Tracy Worth is joining Habitat for Humanity International to swing a hammer and raise awareness with families in need of a simple, decent place to live.From recording public service announcements and distributing information at concerts to joining fans at construction sites, Tracy Worth will help make a difference in communities across the country.
“Habitat for Humanity has a special ministry that touches not only the lives of the families it serves but also the volunteers who give their time to help,” says Worth. “I am so happy to work closely with Habitat in a way that will get more people involved so they can experience the power of Habitat’s ministry.”
Worth will partner with churches under Habitat’s “Faith Works” special events program that brings people of faith together to fundraise and help build homes. She will also join teams of women construction crews for Habitat’s “Women Build” programs around the country.
