Habitat begins recovery efforts to assist typhoon-affected families

After the devastating Typhoon Haiyan hit the Phiippines on Nov. 8, Habitat for Humanity is distributing shelter repair kits and providing training on safe building practices to help affected families begin to rebuild. Meet some of the families and learn more about Habitat’s recovery efforts.

On the morning of Nov. 8, Typhoon Haiyan struck the Philippines with winds stronger than any ever recorded at landfall. It damaged or destroyed 1.1 million homes, including one in Daanbantayan that belonged to Ram Kenneth’s grandmother.
