Software Developer

Duration: Three to twelve months.

Roles and responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining existing software application and databases.
• Assist in the development of new software applications and databases.
• Organize and update relevant data using database applications.
• Perform basic clerical tasks.
• Maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, other volunteers, supervisors and the general public.

Required skills
Word processing; spreadsheet experience; e-mail and Internet experience; software development (Microsoft development environment preferred); database development and maintenance skills (Microsoft SQL server preferred); strong written and verbal communication skills.
