Women Build partnerships

Women Build thanks its major sponsors for their support of our program—and for helping thousands of willing and able volunteers serve more families.

Lowe’s is a vital partner to Habitat for Humanity’s mission. By 2013, Lowe’s will have contributed nearly $40 million to Habitat’s work.

Lowe’s generously provides grant programs, project funding, how-to clinics and underwrites our Women Build program.

Lowe’s has helped Habitat build houses, train volunteers and provide hope for families in every state in the country

Home Interiors and Gifts, Inc. has donated nearly $2 million to the Women Build program.

Their decorating consultants raise funds for Women Build by selling products designated specifically for Habitat for Humanity fund-raisers.

Christi Carter Urschel, chairman and founder of Home Interiors Charitable Foundation®, donates all profits from her decorating book, Art of Accessorizing, to support the Women Build program.

Home Interiors and Gifts, Inc. has sponsored several home builds in the United States, Canada and Mexico

Stone Soup cartoonist Jan Eliot has formed a partnership with us to raise awareness of Women Build and Girls Build.

Stone Soup occasionally features Women Build in its storyline. In one story, readers were taken to Africa with the Holly and Alix, who helped build a home for a family in need.

Jan has also organized Women Build crews herself and helped Habitat build homes for families in need.

Stone Soup readers followed Holly and Alix as they volunteered on a Women Build construction site
