World Habitat

Germany -- Habitat for Humanity Int'l 1

Germany

Habitat volunteer Rudy Voth of Germany.

HFH Germany began operations in 1998 and is now based in Cologne. Its only goal is raising funds for the international work of Habitat. The main focus is on corporate relations, Global Village and lobby work to find supporters, sponsors and volunteers for all our worldwide HFH programs.

HFH Germany has now become member of the UN-affiliated Global Compact Network in Germany, bringing industry and NGOs together

under the banner of corporate social responsibility.

HFH Germany is currently in the bidding to FIFA (Federation of International Football Associations) and its sponsors for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa for sponsorship and celebrity-athlete participation. HFH Germany has raised significant funds for tsunami rebuilding and has already sent a number of volunteer teams on Habitat builds.

We would love to hear from you to help us raise the awareness of the Habitat message, work and brand in Germany. You can make a real difference to families in urgent need of a simple, decent place to live by:

    • Making a donation

    • Becoming a volunteer to build with our Global Village Program worldwide

    • Becoming a partner and sponsor of our work.

If you would like to find out more about our work, contact us directly on info@hfhd.de . Our German Web site is www.hfhd.de.
